Certificate Authority Has Expired

I am getting a "Certificate Authority is Expired" message.
You may see the following dialog box on some secure websites after December 31, 1999. You may
simply click Continue to make a secure connection. If you click Cancel, you will not be taken to the
secure page. This dialog box will continue to appear each time you access these secure websites.

If I continue will my online transactions continue to be secure?
Yes, you will continue to have secure connections and your credit card number and other personal
information will remain as safe and secure as they were before.

How do I make the dialog box disappear?
Updating your Netscape browser to Netscape Communicator 4.72 is Free via Download from
Erienet's Technical Support Website at http://support.erienet.net under either "Internet Programs
for Windows" or "Internet Programs for MacIntosh". Make sure you double check your email
settings after the update, complete instructions for email settings are located on Erienet's Technical
Support Website at http://support.erienet.net under the link "Email Program Setup Instructions".

What if I do not wish to upgrade my browser?
If you wish to continue using your older version of Netscape Navigator or Communicator, you may have
the dialog box shown above appear on screen when you go to some secure websites. You will then
have to click on either Continue, to proceed with a secure transaction, or Cancel to not go to that web
page.

Is this a Y2K bug or problem?
No, this has nothing to do with Y2K issues. It is just a change in the way some sites have their
certificates expire. It will not affect your secure transaction. your credit card number and other personal
information will remain as safe and secure as they were before.
