Type in "Erienet" in the box marked Type a name for the computer you are dialing.
Your modem (which should have been configured when you installed Windows) should be shown in the Select a modem: area.
Click the Next >
button
in the Make New Connection wizard.
Enter your area code here.
Enter your preferred access number here for
the Telephone number if you do NOT have Call Waiting on your
phone
line.
Please note: If you have call waiting on your phone line, add either 70#, or *70, before our modem.
You may need to refer to your telephone book to find the proper code as each telephone company is different.
Click Next and then
the Finish button and your icon will be created.
Uncheck the box marked "Use
country code and area code"
Hit the OK button in
the remaining dialog boxes, and you're almost ready to dial!
Select your newly-created Erienet connection icon, press the RIGHT mouse button and choose Create Shortcut... and click Yes.
Put your
username@erienet.net and password
in the appropriate text areas.
(NOTE: your username must
be entered in lower case (small) letters and NO spaces)
Example: howard@erienet.net
Check the box for "Save Password".
Press the Connect
button
and your modem should start dialing. After a few rings, Erienet's modem
should answer and connect you.
The first time you enter mail it should start asking you how to configure your email, if not, in the Internet Mail Window, at the top, click on Tools and select Accounts.
Please Note: if you have an Erienet account already configured in Outlook, you will want to remove it before adding the new one to prevent a conflict. This is not necessary if you are configuring Outlook to read multiple mail accounts, just make sure that you do not have 2 accounts configured accessing the same email account.
To ADD a MAIL account, a wizard should appear to help you setup your email.

Choose "IMAP" server
Incoming Mail Server -

Outgoing Mail Server -
erienet.net
Internet Mail Logon -
choose
Log on using:
Account Name - enter
your
username (ALL LOWERCASE!). (e.g. howard)
Password - enter
your
password (ALL LOWERCASE!).
Click Next and then Finish
Click Properties
Click on the TAB at the top marked: "Servers"
At the bottom of this screen check the box: "my server requires authentication"
Click OK, then Close
